WHO IS KTCHN?
KTCHN (pronounced like that room in your house), also known as Kazza Kitchell, is a versatile Detroit based musician, performer and visual artist deeply inspired by connection, transformation and harmony. As a pianist, vocalist, producer and composer, KTCHN allows nature to inform their unique approach to music and art. KTCHN transforms the timeless sounds of soul, the vastness of jazz, and playfulness of experimentalism into something new that attempts to capture the essence of being- fluid, fractured and full of possibility. Much like their collages, their music weaves together fragments of the past, present, and future into a resonant call for hope in humanity. As an educator, Kazza ensures students are heard, respected, and guided toward their highest potential—without judgment.
Kazza Kitchell has over a decade of experience as a musician, performer, graphic designer and educator. Kazza holds a BFA from NYU Tisch, Theater Performance and NYU Steinhartt, Child and Adolescent Mental Health. They are dedicated to quality, personalized music services.
